I recently bought a 99 accord with the 3.0L and auto tranny and we are having the problem of it stalling randomly. It doesnt happen very often( could be once a week or once a day) and it happens at all speeds. It can be idling at a red light or going 100km down the highway. When it happens, the engine just cuts and it loses power steering and power brakes. Once stopped and in park, you cannot get the transmission out of park(like in neutral to roll it out of an intersection). To try and restart, it can start the first time or it can take a minute or two. when it doesnt go right away, the starter is definitly working, and when it fires, it fires with no issues and then runs like normal again and the transmission is free to shift normally. The check engine light is not on when driving. Ive tried to get it to stall to try and get an idea of whats causing it but i cannot stall it.

Any ideas?
