AMR Coilovers wont go lower?
Hey I just recently got some AMR coilovers for my 89 hatch. I preloaded all four springs 4 turns. but after installing them I can get the rear to tuck a little bit of tire, but when the front shock body is tightened all the way down there is still a little more than a finger gap. My goal was to have no wheel gap in the front and about a .25" of gap in the rear.
I thought maybe if I completely took the preload out of the front it would go lower but probably ride like *** right? Any other suggestions?
I have also read about loosening the nut on top of the shock before installing but these all have adjusting ***** on them so i didnt mess with the nut. could this have caused any problems?
Thanks!
