My Vtec Wont Crack.
i have an 2002 type s and few days ago vtec was not cracking and its still not.. i thought it would be gas or oil but i had changed that recently.. any help on what i can do to fix it? I WANT MY VTEC BACK!!! LOL. thanks.
wtf... stupidity on this forum anymore. wtf is vtec cracking; why not just say vtec is not engaging? your oil is prob low and its not good to rev ur motor out when vtec is not engaging. its not good to be in vtec rpm range without it engaging especially if your low on oil.

okkkk... sorry. v tec is not engaging.. better? there is oil i just changed it few days ago and there is also gas.. there also is no check engine light.. i reset the ecu then the vtec was working then it started not working again..
maybe try grounding the blk wire on the pressure switch on the vtec solenoid. use alligator clips or something if u want to do this temp or not. also to check if the solenoid works unplug the vtec solenoid and take a piece of wire and run it to the solenoid from the positive on the battery and see if u hear a "click" when u touch it on the prong in the solenoid plug.

Was the car warmed up when you were out there crackin that 'tec like homies do in the hood? It won't work unless the car is warmed up.
Also, does your check engine light even work?
