Today I took off my door panel to examine why my key wont unlock my door on the drivers side. Upon inspection the rod that goes from the key device to the lock is not connected to the lock. I tried getting it to connect but I can not figure out how to do it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

this is a picture of what I'm talking about. the top arrow is the rod the bottom is where I think it is supposed to be connected to but not exactly sure where

 

There is a plastic piece that hooks the rod in the lock. You can check majestic honda for the plastic piece. They break off over time.
