Did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm in a need of a good quality 12v portable air compressor for autox days. Anyone have a recommendation? Been to Sears and saw a $25 craftsmen but I have a feeling it'll break after a few times. Maybe not..?

 

I dont know of any 12 volt compressor that id trust to do what i want at the track.
I user the portercable 6 gallon pancake compressor.
It has the power to inflate tires and remove lug nuts.
With that said I also take a 5000 watt honda generator with me always too.

 

@Dirty19 - Thanks for your thoughts. Just don't want to carry around a pancake compressor. But I hear you.

I've done some researching and looks like a lot of people go with the Q Industries MF-1050 / MV50 compressor. Both models are the exact same and if you do a google search you can find a bunch of 4x4 forums where they show how to mod the unit to make it better.
