I have a completly stock 99 LS. Im wanting to put a turbo on it. Im not looking for anything special i was thinking of getting an ebay kit, or piecing one together. I was woundering what all I need? I figured injectors, 255 pump and the turbo stuff. I want to keep my AC and PS.

1. forced induction section
2. you need a whp goal
3. you need a budget stated
4. if you want to keep ac and ps you'll either want an inline pro manifold or spoolin quick4 ac

rough cost on a basic package

1. precision entry turbo like a 3231e $599
2. inline pro cast manifold $375
3. tial wastegate and blow off valve $475
4. obd1 ecu $100
5. obd 2b to obd1 harness $100
6. injectors $280
7. downpipe and dumptube $300
8. tune on said ecu $350
9. intercooler and piping $300
10. exedy stage 2 clutch with matching flywheel $600
11. 255 walbro fuel pump
12. wideband and boost gauge

that's $3900 and i left off most the random stuff like connectors, catch can and what not. basically figure on $4000-4200 for a complete package

can't be done

look at above price list, you'll have to skimp too many places.

is the manifold. it fits right, clears the wastegate and has the correct tilt to clear ac easily

http://www.inlinepro.com/s1/p-99-inl...-manifold.aspx

ebay kits are a complete waste of money

if you want more power for around $2000 you can buy a jdm itr engine for $2500 shipped and sell you ls engine for $400-500

that's a 60hp gain and much more reliable than a crap ebay turbo setup.

if you want to spend a year watching every ad and waiting for the perfect buys maybe. at that price you're more or less forced to cut corners. i mean, i typed out a shopping list. that's what the parts cost.....it's math....
