My $300 civic Dx needs a new engine. Its currently a 1.5 d15b2 engine and I'm looking for one under 200k for $300. Any suggestions?

I've called salvage yards and U pull its nothing.
I've watched craigslist and most have engine damage.

 

Where are you located would be the most important question that comes to mind. If somebody is around you maybe they could point you in the right direction. Shipping a motor usually runs around $150+ depending on how far its going.

 

Usually finding a d15b2 isnt that hard in salvage yards or craigslist(depending on where you live). At pick in pull if you find one it should be arround $250 and if you find one on craigslist just be carefull. People may try and sell you junk so compression test it.

 

I live in Pennsylvania I'm willing to go up to 450 for shipping. But it would be nice to have a parts car.
