Default my 95 DC2

Just bought this last qeek they sold the b18c and threw in a b18b1. Took off the head to install arp head studs new hg and timing belt. Other plans are jsrc or turbo undecided. So far. Any suggestions while head is off? Already checked head and block both are straight..

Motor looks damn clean internally. as for the car I'd say hit it with a good buffer and some Megs 205 to get those light scratches out of it. I can see them really good on the front fender.

GSR is a DC2 but double check the vin # on the firewall, its in big writing right under the cowl when you pop the hood, near the fuel filter.

no, the viton of the MLS gasket is designed to seal the cylinders itself when heated, no copper spray

Be sure to install a new water pump and oil pump. Might as well do it now that the motor is apart. Also if you don't have aftermaket mounts or inserts do it now before you install.

Couple questions car has white plugs timing off or burning coolant? No overheating or white exhaust or water in oil.
Other thing is on the top of my IM I have a purge valve?? And the hose just sits on stock intake

Nah it isnt that bad at all. Im happy with my b18b1 powered teg. Now if the
b18c was still in there that would be better. Looks like your off to a good start on it. Should have seen mine when I started on it.
