my obd2a p72 ecu was stolen from my 96 gsr. i have a 1996-98 civic ex p2p ecu that's also obd2a. My question is will this ecu work in my DC2 GSR til i get another p72? or will it hurt the motor if i drive it?

also i did a honda-tech search, google search, and a ask.com search before posting this. so dont hate if this question came up 8 years ago and i missed it.

wheres my h-t guru's? someones gotta know this. and dont just take a guess. i have it hooked up and ive started the car, but im afraid that if i drive it for a week or so that it could do damage.
The IAB will also be open all of the time. I have a stock 37820-P72-A03 ECU sitting in my garage. It is the original from my 97 GSR.

ok i have a p72 with hondata s200 chipped for a boosted gsr would it hurt anything to put it in an h22 prelude. i am not sure if it was chipped right so i want to try it just to eliminate it.
