Any 2nd Gen Prelude NASA or SCCA Racers Out There?
It seems that I am all alone. Never seen a 2nd gen prelude at any NASA or SCCA event. Located in Southeast. I know they are not ideal race cars due to the lack of aftermarket parts, but I've owned this 86 Prelude for 20 years and love it.
First car was an 86 base that I drove through highschool. Had so much fun on that car, stickier tires and a moderate drop and that thing felt like it was on rails.
How well do you compete in that car? Do you autox or circuit?

86 Si was the 1st Prelude I ever drove! It wasn't crazy fast, but fast enough to hunt down Civics!
Just to throw is out there, GUDE makes cams for the B20/B21

I had the same car in high school as well, and still have it 20 years later. I used to autocross it years ago. Now I'm running on the track, Road Atlanta mostly, in HPDE and PDX. With only upgraded sway bars and springs, the prelude is a good momentum car and one the better cars in turns, but has little power in the straights . I don't care if it's the slowest or fastest car out there, it's well balanced and a lot of fun. This car just won't quit.

This car has an A20. I think only Jap and Euro versions ran the B20 in 86.
