Default Smoke

I have a 98 acura integra ls and I have smoke coming out of my exhaust. I checked my oil come to find out there was basically none in there, did and oil change. Put in synthetic high mileage castrol oil. Ended up putting too much oil in though. Could this cause the white/grey smoke from my exhaust??

putting to much causes the oil to foam and create too much oil pressure. too much oil pressure will eventually force seals to blow.

no oil on dip stick is more than likely burning oil from piston control rings.
