Default jdm stuff

I stumbled across a power folding mirroe switch from a last gen Acura Legend. Does anyone know if the pig tail connector will connect into my door wire without modding? Would that be the same for the power folding mirrors? I'd like to install a set onto my 96 accord sedan. Also, does anyone know a good source or website for a auto climate control module for a 94-97 accord?

Why do you want the Legend power folding mirror pigtail for your Accord? Unless you have the JDM CD6 power folding mirrors. You can try to see if it'll plug and play?

About the Auto Climate Control, you're talking about a JDM one right? If so, I wouldn't bother with it.

Why not? I want to pick up the set of mirrors with the power switch. How come the jdm climate control is no good?

Where are you going to put the climate control? The mirrors are cool but require some wiring.

You'll need a set of the JDM CD6 mirrors that has that power folding feature off Ebay then cause you'll need more than just the switch & pigtail.

Also, the JDM climate control is a PITA. You'll need to pull the dash out, figure what wires need to be wired up from the climate control to the car, etc. It's a mess. Only one guy I know whose done the swap and he's James Matteu from FL. He converted his whole dash with a Acura CL to be able to use the JDM Climate Control. Looks legit but doesn't look fun at all.

And here's a sneak peek this other dude's digital climate install. Quite scary if you ask me:

I was at the local junkyard this afternoon and figured that the legend was the accord before the cl came along. Guess I was wrong. As for the climate control, I've seen the unit in eBay and it looks like it fits where the current controls are. Only issue I can see is how to fix the openings for the fan and temp *****. But you're correct. It doesn't look fun at all. However, since the dash is a two piece, it is a whole lot easier to work on compared to a one piece dash. Oh well.

Yup, I know what you mean about the two piece dash thingy. And yeah, I wouldn't bother with it. Just more of a hassle; though, it would be tight to have a JDM Auto Climate.

Try passwordjdm or eBay. You can also try your local craigslist. Any specific parts or accessories?
