Default Injector questions...

Hey guys, so the results are in. My problem was the previous owner of my 98 Prelude put Integra injectors in there. At least, that's pretty much the general idea between two different tuners and myself. That's because the car doesn't run right on a 290cc injector tune. It only runs right on a roughly 240cc injector tune or something. So we thought the only 240cc injectors out there were from/for Integras (or Civics or whatever). When in fact I guess Preludes (at least 5th gens?) are 290cc...

So I bought a set of used *stock* Prelude injectors off eBay. For a 97+ 5th gen. Then I sent them off to Witchhunter for cleaning and flow testing. Might as well, I figured. Better to clean injectors off the car anyways, plus I really wanted to see what these flow rates were going to be. Turns out I'm a little confused or angry. Or both. Confused at the numbers, or angry at the eBay seller for selling me the wrong sized injectors.

The results are below. They are NOT the 290cc rating I was obviously hoping for and paid for. BUT, they're not 240cc either. They look more like maybe 250cc. But I don't even know of a Honda that runs 250cc injectors? And these were tested at 43.5psi, which is a standard measurement I know. But do our Preludes ever run at, say, 47psi? Even then, it wouldn't bump the flow rate up to 290cc. So, what gives?

Are the flow ratings different for a saturated injectors vs a peak and hold injector? If so, maybe that is the issue here. I don't know.

Anyways, help me out :?
