How hard is it to take out clutch on a RSX type S
Hey, i am changing out a clutch for the RSX type S and it seems i have to drop the sub frame and motor to get the clutch out. Is this the only way??
i had to change my clutch, but the dealership did it.. but from my understanding that is the only way to change it out

Who knows but I'll answer the question now that it is bumped.
You do not need to pull the motor to install a clutch. The suframe needs to be removed and then the engine can be tilted towards the driver's side. With the engine supported you can pull the trans. out the drivers side wheel well.

However, you DID do a search first, and that's how you found this thread.
That's a good thing, IMO.
