Is it possible to run 4 lug hubs with 5 lug ITR brakes?
You are probably wondering 'why would you want to do that?' I've been looking for a pair of lightweight 15x9 or 15x10 5x114.3 wheels for auto-x and the only wheels I've found are custom wheels which are $$$. I currently run 21 lb 15x10 Diamond Racing Wheels and want to get the weight down to at least 15 lbs.
I've tossed around the idea of converting back to 4 lug hubs so that I can run something like 949 Racing's 6UL 13.5 lb 15x10 wheels.
Is it possible to use ITR brake rotors (redrilled and bored for 4 lug) on the 4 lug hubs with the ITR calipers?
I've also considered redrilling the 5 lug hubs and rotors. Does anyone have any input on that?

You can do the normal GS-R to ITR brake swap. I forget all the time what it requires, but I think it's shaved ITR brackets and redrilled prelude vtec rotors. Check the normal Integra forum for those directions.
By the time you buy the 4-lug parts (hubs, rotors, calipers, etc) plus the 949 wheels, how much will you truly be saving vs. just having a set of 5x114 15x10 wheels made? Plus, you can get the custom wheels made to the exact backspacing that you need.
I've considered that and I am just exploring my options at this time.
949 Racing has been working on a 15x9 5x114.3 for the last 2 years and I am still waiting.
Right now, Spin Werks Series 85 wheels are looking to be the best lightweight and cost effective option.

seems like a LOT of work and $ for little benefit and that's just the front. have you weighed out other brake options? i know the aluminum pbr twin piston caliper that's found on the 88-96 corvette is considerably lighter than the the stock itr caliper. you also have the aluminum wilwood package. you also can save a few lbs with aluminum front lower control arms if they are still being made. as for unsprung weight i can't think of anything that's going to have that drop like a fiberglass bead hoosier. have you already optimized tire weight?
if you're stuck on a 4 lug itr brake setup, i've done it and it's really easy, as stated above redrilled vtec rotors and .120 or 1/8th of an inch off the caliper bracket where it mounts

For the whole part conversion (4X114.3) 96 spec ITR = $350.00 + shipping @ www.hmotorsonline.com
it the "Whats New" section, under DC2.
make sure you tell them whether you have abs sensors or not

the 96 spec uses base model calipers, not 23T's

Assuming the wheels ge wants are 4x114.3 as well but I suspect they are just 4x100 which won't work with 96spec gear, which can be easily setup to use 5 lug brake gear.
OP wants 4x100 because cheap-ish 15x8"+ wheels are made for that application.
96SpecR 4x114 does him no good.
OP...did you ever call 949 to see if they'd ever release a 15x8"+ wheel in 5x114? Enough cars are now coming with that bolt pattern that they might consider it. Personally, if it is a track car, I'd much rather have the strength of the 5x114 anyways.

Yeah, I contacted 949 numerous times and have checked their website periodically. They list the 15x9 5x114.3 wheel on the bottom of their home page and would update the release date numerous times. After waiting over a year and seeing multiple updates on the release dates, they eventually stopped putting down a date. It feels like waiting for the release of GT5 with 949.
I don't want to start a NEW thread, so i'll ask here... I'm doing the opposite... where can I find a hub adaptor to switch the 4 lug Si to a 5 lug ITR? Is the bolt pattern of an ITR 5 x 114.3? Civic Si's are 5 x 100. I want a hub adaptor, extended stutds and lugs for this upgrade of ITR rims on an Em1 civic. I'll do the whole 5 lug conversion in the future, but for now, just want the hub adaptors... can anyone help??

So you're going to 5-lug just to run OEM ITR wheels? Really?
And yeah, different thread for a different forum.
