Depending on the car, there are several different ways used to check the code it is giving. It is most likely a wheel sensor, but you'll have to check the ABS computer.

You don't need ABS ^_^ Jump the service connector (under the glovebox) and read the code that the blinking ABS light gives you. My ABS light is on all of the time now and I checked the code (main code 1, sub code 8) and it said there was a problem with accumulator gas leakage. Whatever. I got quoted 300 bucks to fix it, but I don't need it.
