My father-in-law is putting off getting his timing belt changed.
I'm concerned about what will happen if it breaks.
Is the valve lift aggressive enough for the piston to impact them should the belt snap or is this a complete clearance motor?
I'm not sure on the year, but he has had it about four - five years if that makes any difference.
