Hello, I am new to honda tech and new to modding cars so I do not know much about how to do things other than styling. I really love the sound of skunk2 exhaust systems and I was wondering if the megapower universal muffler with the stock piping would give me the same sound as the catback. I do not care for performance gains, just the sound. I have searched for this MANY times. Thanks for any help.

 

Probably won't sound the same cause it won't be same. Hope you like fix-it tickets cause skunk2 is annoyingly loud....

 

Okay, I appreciate the advice then and will keep that in mind and wait for a catback, maybe in a more quiet form like a twin-loop. I just want to be able to hear it well when getting on the gas without alerting every cop in the state.

 

just some friendly advice: youtube search 'civic si exhaust' (brand if desired) and you'll be able to hear different exhaust systems on a car just like yours without having to spend any money.

 

do not go for universal muffler. save and get the catback.

in addition, i did not enjoy the sound of my 07 Si until i combined my S2 catback with a raceheader.
