Because I like the look. Stock bumper lenses are ugly. Integras sold outside North America all had clear bumper lights w/ orange sidemarkers, and I like the way it looks, so there you have it.

Actually the JDM 94-95 integras had the same ones as the USDM 94-97. The Euro integras have clear lenses with the 98+ style.

Not really, 94-95 J-spec Integras had a clear lens w/ amber cap over the turn signal bulb, and actually nothing in the side section (no bulb, no reflector, nothing). So if I took apart my stock bumper lenses and removed the amber reflector, they would be the same as JdM y0 bumper lenses. I'm actually thinking of doing that, just because it's free.

because I was drying the car after washing it.

Andrea, if you get sidemarkers, PLEASE don't wire them up to stay on w/ parking lights, that looks ghey IMHO. Just make them normal turn signals.

lol, really is slammed to the ground. I like them when they aren't on all the time, but only when signaling. Otherwise it's just like any other ricer led lights.

My sidemarkers are replica OEM clears, which I picked up for about $20. I used Tamiya clear orange model paint on them.

To install them, I got a picture of a J-spec Integra fender, showing the hole w/o sidemarker, which I blew up to actual size and printed out as a template. I removed the fenders from my car completely and used a metal nibbler tool from Radio Shack to make the hole. I guess I didn't make it exactly the right size because I never could get the lights to sit flush against the fender, so I ended up just slapping on some epoxy around the sidemarker on the inside of the fender. I'll never be able to take it out, but if a bulb burns out I can just pull down the fender liner and remove the wiring harness. As for the wires, I ran them through the frame rails underneath the fenders, up to the turn signal light harness.

Those look like OEM EK sidemarkers, yes? I got the replica DC Integra sidemarkers (flat)... I see that autodynamic is now selling them in amber for $20, I might just have to get me a set to replace my clear ones so I don't keep having to add paint.

*edit* actually yours look like 90-93 Accord sidemarkers.
