Default Random beeping of Anti-theft alarm

Hi,
I have a Honda accord 2000 and recently the anti-theft alarm has been beeping randomly at odd hours. It would do it once or twice a night and does it for about 20-25 beeps.

I took it to a mechanic, who said that they would disable the anti-theft. I didn't want to do that. Instead I got the battery changed. That worked for 2 months. Now, it happens again.

1. What could be the problem?
2. Where are the points in the trunk and hood which actually sense their closing. I want to check them, but couldn't find it.
3. Someone said that I can put it in the "valet mode" and disable the alarm only. If it is so, where is the button in accord 2000. I searched all under the dash and couldn't find any button.
4. How to disarm the anti-theft system?

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
Edit: I could disable the alarm by pulling out the #5 fuse (under the hood), which does 2 things (so far) a)Shut down the horn (when random beeping occurs, only the lights go off) b)Disable the use of the car (cannot move from park to drive)
