knock at start up and shutting down plz help !!!

when i start it it knocks loud then goes away but i hear a really light tick barely hear it then when i shut it off same knock as start up idk what to do

agreed! ... what does it sounds like? Vibrations? Smoke? Electrical surge?....etc. etc.

idk sounds like a hammer hitting something then goes into really light tick once running
