Default seatbelt alarm

90LX 4 door

One of the motors is out for the seatbelt. Anyone had this problem before? Is there a way to disable the seatbelt alarm? It's uber obnoxious. TIA

Is your chime coming from the rear view area? disassemble the rear view mirror seat belt warning module (3 screws). There will be a small circuit board and wires going to the board.

Option 1.
Remove the black cylinder from the board. this will remove the "chime" only and the lights will continue to work.

Option 2.
Unplug circuit board all together. "Chime" lights etc. will not function.

disconnect the green plug going into the module located behind the stereo next to the firewall...make sure you manually lock your seat belts in the locked position before disconnecting the plug...!!!
