Do i need to replace the rear mounting plate? (stud plate)
I'm getting rattling in the rear going to replace the bushings and the small metal plates that go into the assembly towards the top. But i was wondering if i need to replace the stud plate, or is it literally just metal, and only reason to replace it is if it bends from a car accident etc?
Here is the plate part # and name go it from rockauto.com
MONROE Part # 907915 Strut-Mate Suspension Stud Plate
Rear
Also i was going to use this for the parts
MEVOTECH Part # MP901940
or
MONROE Part # 901940

You shouldn't have to replace the mount (907915) if you're replacing all the bushings (901940). That is unless you let the bushings get so bad the strut wallowed out the mount.
Don't cheap out on suspension parts, you could wreck your car or worse. Go with KYB or MOOG. Monroe has never been good to my Hondas (OK in my domestic vehicles). Never tried MEVOTECH.
