Default could this be alternator. 00 accord v6

So coming home from drag races in bristol, everything is fine. get off on the exit, then all of a sudden on cluster both door indicators, trunk, and brake light indicator light up. Battery light, abs, and e-brake light. Also dome light will not come on. Immediatly thought it was alternator, but then drove from bristol to knoxville which is about 200 miles. I drove to work and back yesterday, work this morning. But on the way home this afternoon, about a mile from my house the radio cut off, the ac started cutting on and off, the CEL came on, and the transmission started acting crazy and shifted very hard from first to second, and seemed down on power. I limped the car home, tryed to restart and would not restart. seems like alternator to me, but why would it take so long to die. ANSWERS??????????

The very same thing happened to me about 2 months ago. I thought it was the alternator also. But it turned out to be the battery. When I pulled it out, you can smell the acid and feel the heat. How old is your battery? Have the battery and alternator tested to be sure. Good luck.

definitely sounds like a battery problem, and if thats not it you have some serious electrical issues somewhere

when i read all your lights lit up and then went out usually shows signs of some sort of power surge, but thats why you have fuses making that concept unlikely, check your grounds also.
