hey everyone, I was wondering..can i hook up an extra alarm speaker by simply slicing into my main speaker under the hood? or would i need a relay or some other crap?

Reason i ask, is because when i go to PickNpull, i can buy these alarm speakers from wrecked cars for $1.

 

You mean "Siren"? and no you shouldn't just splice, the miniture amp is not equipped to handle two however you can run the alarm siren output to a relay and then to the secondary siren.

Yes, depending on what siren you run. And what alarm you have. Dei alarms can power two sirens. I really don't see why you need 2 main sirens. Unless your putting one in the car and one hidden on the outside.

DOH!!! should have read.......If your going to add two sirens at least invest in a back up siren (one that contains a battery built into it).
