Well it is that time again. I recently replaced my rusted out sunroof with a rust-free sunroof. However I cannot get the anxiety away each time it rains that I might have to later replace my sunroof and begin the extremely difficult process of finding another CRX sunroof. I have heard tell that vision motorsports sells carbon fiber-like sunroofs (not the plug). Well it turns out that vision motorsports "sold" them. Every link from previous threads I have read is now broken. Could someone please point me in the right direction, OR (not trying to get a locked thread) would know someone that would be willing to sell a used one or trade for a rust free steel sunroof. I have checked Egay and am not willing to drop 900 OBO for one, as in the past I have found them on ebay for 200.

i've searched too, there are only the $900 one and then CF plugs. the older these cars get, the less parts are being sold.
if you want your panel to last, just seal it up good around the seal. maybe a small bead of adhesive or silicone under the rubber. GL

 

Glass for the win. You could always have your sunroof sealed and then have carbon fiber laid over it.

 

Explain how glass would help me? Not to be rude, asking if there is a way to implement glass instead of the oem steel

 

Im not sure.. Im just saying because the hatch backs have glass sun roofs. I doubt they are interchangable but that would be cool.

 

Why not just pick up a spare panel from the dealer. I think mine cost me less then $200.
