Default p0341 CMPS

so i just got this code yesterday. i know people say it could be many types of things, but i dont think my car has skipped timing at all because the car started and ran just fine and idled upon startup, but when i drove down the road and got to the first light it kinda stalled out(thats when i noticed the light) so i was figuring i could get away with just the CKP and maybe the tensioner? or would it be the Vtec solenoid? any input on what to do?

i just didnt think mechanical timing could cause a problem like this. cause it ran fine when i drove it. just when i came to a stop it would try to die. it starts up and idles fine when i first start it up. i will try replacing the timing tensioner though and the CKP sensor. i hope that one of those will help.

my car was throwing same code. i replaced the sensor and it didnt do anything. took it in to honda and replaced the chain and tensioner. runs like a champ now. turned out to be a stretched chain due to lack of oil change.

well oddly enough, i ran my car to operating temp and parked it. then i proceded to reset the ecu and the light has not come back on and the idles perfectly and runs a good as ever. i think it was caused by low oil due to a leak that i did not see. i randomly looked at the dip stick and saw it was low so i put a quart in and it is running fine. i think the VTC just wasnt getting enough oil so it threw the code. so tomorrow i will be fixing another oil leak and doing an oil change. i will also swap out the tensioner just to be safe.

well, i lied. it ran fine this morning but as soon as i get 1/4 mile down the road the light comes back on and it back to stalling when i let it idle(after its warmed up). can this actually be the timing chain? could a check the cam and crank sensors with a volt meter? what voltage should i look for?
