Default F1 Boston on November 2

Ok here is the deal. 20 people. $77 per person for the mini grand prix. If I have this correct the large track(no not the 2 put together sorry) will hold races of 11 people and the top finishers will go on to a title race. So its pretty cool If its 20, its 10 and 10 and the top 5 go on to the final race.

This is what you get:
A day license
Use of helmets, driving suits, neck braces and balaclavas
Driver's briefing
Your name in lights
State-of-the-art karts

Professionally run races, with a race manager, corner worker and flaggers
To race at F1 Boston, you must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age and 21 years of age after 8:00 p.m. You will be signing a liability waiver when you race.

The above is the only hitch. Sorry to you guys 17 and younger. You cant play

Any more info needed please IM me. I want to get some definite attendies before we sign up. Since I have to pay in advance. I have a plan, dont worry about a thing. I just want to get a good list of definites

Not the two put together , but I can deal. By the large track you mean the one that has the corkscrew correct?

Since there are people that aren't 21 yet, I assume were going to have this earlier in the day? Unless all the youngins get booted out the door at 8 while the adults party ?

Put me down as a definite

No offense, but have you ever been there? The place is state of the art, the track is too. But the carts are not all that. They handle very good. The top speed is >40MPH, but that is about the max you can go on the tracks they have there. There are two tracks. It is alot of fun though!!!!!!!! , oh and they have a bar too.

Sorry Dave.
Oh, I'm not trying to say it isn't a good thread.

I was just wondering why it was a sticky.

I'm saying ... it doesn't deserve to be a sticky because it'n not something in which all the ITR forum members would be able to participate or be interested in.
Therefore, it should rise and fall depending on board interest just like any other topic.
Which is why I said, sorry Dave!

hehe ... now I'd like to be a Global Mod!

Fact is it is a sticky and it doesnt matter if you think it should be. Why? Cause its already stuck. Its a sticky because I asked for it to be a sticky so I can get 20 people then it can fall when I have 20 people confirmed.

So this is one race if you suck, and two races if you suck less than five people? That's a lot of money just for that -- one race is only $25 if you have a season license (I do). Are the races longer than usual maybe?

me and dave had a discussion about this:

the gas tank probably cant hold that much fuel.

i'd say closer to 10-15 laps.

and at 40 mph as a top speed, your looking at about 4-6 minutes of fun, incase you dont make it into the final run. and that will run 77 bucks

I am almost a definite. I do wanna hear more about how much Ill be getting with my hard earned, nearly empty bank account money. Im sure I can get 2 other people to go with me so you could put me down for 3 possible if you like.

what happens if we get 100 people? will there be more heat races to get to the finals?
