Is the distributor the same for a DPFI and MPFI on a D15B2?

 

where u located? Theres shops in my area that sellem used for $80

 

If your any where close to Pa you can have mine for $40

Lol. I have a good new working dizzy for that d15b2 but its a dpfi dizzy. R u mpfi or no?

 

dpfi with auto transmission. DX model. Not sure i need it yet. But should by end of the week. Mechanic has it. Thinks it maybe bad? Will post again when i know. Thanks. PS May need a head too if this guy skips town on me?

 

Dont matter if auto or 5spd i think. Its just ecu's that need to be swapped out. Heads r all over the junkyards.

 

I'm 99% sure they are not the same. I made this mistake buying one from a junkyard. There are two more wires on the MPFI one than the DPFI (cam position sensor?)
