i bought a 97 gsr, the engine is bad can i swap the engine with a 96 b18b? nd just bolt it on? thanx

 

Should be a straight drop/plug and play install, 96-99 Integra are all OBD2a. 94

 

yup no problem all plug and play.. if you arent planning on it I would recommend bolting the gsr tranny up to the ls motor.. and clutch, t-belt and water pump replacement while the motors out.. dont forget to get an ls ecu

 

what about the throttle cable? will the gsr throttle cable work with the ls manifold since they have different shape?

 

you will probably have to make a custom little bracket had to make one for my civic. it isnt that hard sorry i dont have a pic for you.

 

any better description of this bracket? I'm about to do this swap myself and want things to go as smoothly as possible

 

basically on the ls mani it has the two bolt holes for the throttle cable mount..
so take a little piece of aluminum of somesort i used a road sign.. drill out the two holes mount that bracket in then align the bracket from the gsr throttle cable and drill 2 holes for that and bolt it on and thats your piece.. hope that helps.. should be pretty self explanitory once you go to mount it.
