Default Hollywood's EBP DC2 ~tuck/b18c/te37~

So I've been wanting to make a build thread for awhile now. So I'm going to take the time to do it now. Please shoot me your opinions on the cars looks and advice u may have. A little history of what I've done to the car since I purchased it.

This is my 1997 integra that I purchased in April 09. Its was black with tan interior with a ls motor that had 160k. Paint was in bad condition was I got a friend to spray some fresh paint. I picked up some rota slips and a few suspension parts. I was content for awhile then I got the great idea to tuck everything for a clean look for the upcoming season. My deadline to have the car finish is end of August. Now some photos of how the car had progress through the past almost two years.

When I bought it.

Few months past... new paint, bought a set candy red slips, and threw on my suspension parts that piled up waiting for the car to be painted.

Sold the slips for a Yakima roof rack and picked up some Enkei 92s that I had powder-coated candy purple. Had the engine bay sprayed candy gold to give it a clean look. Swap out the ls motor for a spec ITR motor. Last photo shoot before I put the car in storage for winter.

Once I finally got the car into the garage, I started to work pulling out the B18c and stripping the bay. Removed a/c, p/s, abs and pulled the wire harness into the cabin.

brake tuck kit, clutch tuck kit, engine and chassis bolt kits from Downstar Inc came in this week. Installed Arp head-studs and new cosmetic head-gasket on the motor today.

Prep and sprayed the front wheel wells with truck bed coating. Only got the passenger side done today because I ran out of the coating.

PAINT DAY

Good progress on the build. Early in the morning I put down some metal glaze to fill in all the places that were uneven. Then I shot some primer and waiting for a friend to come up from Virginia to give me a hand with the paint.

My friend spraying the first coat. He couldn't believe that I talked him into this lol. He never has done an engine bay and he said this would be his last lol

All done!

Motor is back together and in the car. I finished my wire/brake/battery/clutch tuck. Front and Rear suspension are one and torqued down. Started installing the exhaust manifold, precision turbo, and waste-gate. Waiting on some parts to get back from a friend that powder-coats then I can finish installing everything else and start her up.

Motor in with turbo hooked up

Not much room

S2000 master clutch cylinder

Pulled the heater core out and figured that be a good place for the wire harness to come through the firewall.

Used downstars engine bolt kit to replace most of the old bolts.

I did some headwork to it. Im only going to run about 8-10 pounds so hopefully it holds up. Im worried about the spool lag with it being a big turbo.

I've been busy lately with work so I haven't had much time to update progress on the car. I will try to find some time tonight to upload some pictures. I got my te37 back for my friends and tires should be here tomorrow

Swapped the spoon reservoir cover for a mugen reservoir cover

Few shots of the engine bay

Interior shot with battery being tucked under the passenger seat.

Volks Orange TE37. Just had a friend powder-coat them so they are fresh. My neo gens vr tires should be here tomorrow.

What if your battery starts leaking in the floorboard? I wouldnt have done that, but overall a very clean build... How did you prep the fender wells for undercoating? Sanding? Wire Wheel?

Non-abs brake booster and MC out of a rs. Its a personal steering wheel that I got from a friend that was stationed over in japan. Took me a month to get it shipped from over there.

Its a dry-cell battery made by odyssey so it willn't leak. Wire wheel and scrapped everything then apply the coating.

I'm about an hour and a half away from Morgantown. Does the guy with the harness need a core? I'd love to get a harness like that but chasebays and rywire want like 500-600 for one.

Yea he need your harness and a 175 deposit, takes about two weeks for him to finish the harness and send it back to you, then just send him the final payment. silkyjohnson#1hater
