Heating & Cooling
I checked previous posts and didn't see any answers on this
I have a Civic size aluminum radiator (1" thick), but I am still overheating over a period of time. I am running 2 fans in front and behind. I have to put my heater on to bring the temp down. I have a turbo setup with a tubular exhaust manifold and a dump pipe that would prevent me from going back to a full size radiator.
Any suggestions on smaller good cooling radiator setups?
Someone suggested putting washers on the hood bolts to vent the rear of the hood...? I would think water would get in and cause more problems.

The washers in the hood hinge does nothing...the airflow just doesn't work the way you would initially think.
The smaller Civic radiators just don't have enough frontal area to get rid of the heat, especially with a turbo engine. My Civic rad just barely does the job with a mostly stock H23 and no AC. I think you will most likely need to go to a radiator with more surface area...maybe custom if your turbo stuff is in the way.
Do you have AC?

I appreciate the feedback. I am running A/C, and unfortunately I need it. I will look into a triple core radiator. I might have a double core radiator. I know it is thicker than stock for sure.
Do you have any suggestions?
