power steering leak
I have a 1990 Honda Accord LX with an automatic transmission. I just bought the car not too long ago, and I had to replace the power steering fluid because the person that had it before was using the wrong fluid. I put in the right fluid and it seemed to be alright, but now it seems like I have to always top the fluid off like once a week. It also gets a kind of chirping noise when I drive, not when it's idling, but more when I'm driving it, usually under 45 mph. I don't know if they are connected, but somebody at Auto Zone told me it might be the power steering pump, or maybe a pulley. I might take it to the mechanic tomorrow, but I don't know really what it is, and I don't want it to cost me an arm and a leg. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
