Hello, I am new to this forum, I am having some problems with my honda..

the car will crank and not start..
the dash lights don't come on when you put the car to the on pos.. (engine,batt,doors don't show open.)
also that when it was idling, sport light just started to blink out of no where.

got off the freeway and the check engine light came on.. got home turned car off and now won't start..

looking to see what you guys think..

 

so my dad and I figure out that its the ignition.. he turned the car on and then held the key just a little forward and it went to die and then stayed on as he held the key forward..

has anyone ever replaced the ignition in one of these?

 

I'm sure tons of ppl went through this situation. I say get a Haynes manual to perform this if you're not quite sure. I have one and it's pretty handy.
