how do you get the one piece jdm da headlights to be yellow?
is the the bulb? or is the it actually yellow...correct me if im mistaken but is it fog lights?

If they're OEM one piece headlights they should have a yellow capsule thing inside the foglight housing.

tinted anything vs clear
laws are different in some countries that prohibit clear automotive lighting

Yea there is a yellow glass capsule that goes around the bulb. You can get yellow fog bulbs if that glass capsule is broken though
