Maybe the more operative question would be: Why are you spending money and time to install aftermarket cam gears on a 100% stock GS-R?

Oh wait...must be the bling factor....

i have had them in the garage from a buld i took them off of and have an extra side cover so after they are set i'm going to put a stock one back on so they cant be seen. thanks for the helpful comments. believe it or not you can pick up power from stock cams with gears but i'm sure you already knew that with all your bling knowledge.

From what i've seen, the intake on stock cams, likes to be advanced alittle.. other then that, i would more then likely leave them @ 0/0.

Every motor is different.. specially if you are comparing b16's to GSR's.

Leave them @ 0/0.

Advance the intake cam around 1 degree and leave the exhaust cam at stock timing.
