I have a friend who has a 90 prelude. The timing belt snapped on it, and we are going to first try to see if we can re-time it and see how it runs (if it runs at all). Then possibly take the head off and see what kind of damage has been done.

We were thinking if major damage has been done we were going to swap a new motor in. I'm unfamiliar with Hondas and do not know what motors are able to swap in easily if anyone has any info it would be appreciated.

How easy is the swap? Do they make a kit to swap it in? How much is custom work to get it to fit properly?

No it doesn't look like that. lol

 

the mounts that i have they don't make any more .... but if you contect 1funryd he will be able to help.. you also need to look at: ( prelude power . com) with out the spaces
