Honda accord 94 ex vtec automatic
Hi, my honda is spending too much gasoline, and light electronic injection panel is lit all the time, my mechanic says it's only change for luma new lambda sensor that solves the problem, anyone have any thoughts on the problem? Can I use an oxygen sensor that is not the original? Thank you to all forum

Thanks HonBeer...more useful information for the poster.
Get the codes, or at least have you tech give them to you. Once you know what the code(s) is and it does point you to the O2 sensor. You can use an aftermarket sensor. Be sure to get one from a reliable source (Denso or another quality supplier).
When was the last time it had a good tune up (plugs, cap, rotor, filters, ect)?
