Default ECU Backup fuse blown ?

What would be the effects of the backup fuse blowing ?
I know the radio and clock stop working but am concerned with any effects it would have on the running of the car .

Cheers.

If we are talking about the same fuse, I think it will reset your ECU everytime you turn off the car.

Yes, that's the fuse . The 7.5 amp backup.

I was trying to determine if it would have any adverse effects on the running of the car as it was blown for 5 days .

I think mine is blown... Turn the key u get no instrument lights, no clock... The radio works but I think I tapped into the cig lighter anyways...

I wonder if that's it...

Car also won't start.

Thanks,

Harry

This isn't a result of the backup fuse being blown.

If you have a blown fuse, just find out which fuse is blown and replace it.

If you can't afford a new fuse, don't worry about fixing it because you can't afford gas to go anywhere either.
