Just as the title states I am wonderinghow similar the exhausts are on the accord sedans with the 4 cylinder engine (2.3ltr for 98) and (2.2 ltr for 97) to each other. I have a chance to get a complete catback from a friend off of their 98 sedan and was wondering if it would pretty much be plug and play with some minor cutting and welding or not. Thank you all in advance for your help!

I feel retarded giving you this information for the main reason that I found it on ebay/google in like 3 minutes...
But whatever.
You do the comparisons.... Get your hands dirty.

 

Ok thanks, that answered my question. I looked on eBay to do the same comparison and only came up with generic pics for all accord exhausts so I couldn't compare them and this question was no where to be found in any FAQ or anything like that. I can see the exhaust has totally been re routed I will go with a catback for my gen accord.
