Icon2 4th gen prelude center console/arm rest in crx

This has been in my head ever since ive had a prelude. Has anyone ever seen this?

1. I want a cup holder
2. I want an arm rest
3. The ebrake has placement for the prelude. Imo
4. I dont want to spend the money for the jdm armrest and i dont really like the way it looks.

Ill just throw my thoughts out the for the fun of it.
First the ebrake would need to be moved. Mounting holes retapped and maybe fab up a new ebrake bracket to make up for moving the ebrake over a few inches.
I was thinking of mocking both consoles up and cutting them at once and plastic welding them back together, sanding, filling in imperfetions and then using some black interior paint.
It will for sure be more cimplicated than that. Probly some trimming of the prelude console to get it to fit.

One conceren would be the way the prelude center console sits as the passenger sits alot different in a prelude than an ef.

Just some thoughts. All inputs welcome.

That's so much work and it will be difficult to line it up properly. Most people just do this swap instead.

It's from an Integra, 94-00 I believe? Pretty simple to do, I've done it a few times now. Cupholders, arm rest, and a sporty center console! Woo-hoo!

Wait, I'm stupid. You're speaking of CRX...

Hold on...

you could do this. people also cut up an EK arm rest to fit.
cupholders are difficult. There is a CRX cupholder thread actually... some people delete their ash tray and cig lighter to fit in the integra cupholder. some people cut out the 'pocket' in the CRX center console and fit in a taurus cupholder/coin tray. some even buy the 'dual din' dash piece instead of cutting one up.
in Canada, arm rests are common in the CRX. i've seen so many.
you'll find out how useless they are in the CRX, it's more for the passenger unless you like gangster leanin'.

here's a thread discussing this... http://crxcommunity.com/viewtopic.php?t=6709
