#1 Automatic transmission slipping... All gears work, except 2nd... Could it be the shift solinoid? I really dont want to purchase a whole new transmission or pay to get mines rebuilt...

#2 Engine Problem! Ugh! Piston knocking, thanks to engine burning or leaking oil... I really think my mechanic didnt put a spark plug in correctly!
Anyway... I want a new engine, but why get the same engine tehehe! Is there another Vtec engine with more 150hp that will fit my car?... I need a exact fit! I plan on doing the engine swap in 2-3 weeks, so please help me. My engine is a ULEV Vtec, so thats no good... I want something stronger, more powerful

Replace or rebuild the trans. The problem is not the shift solenoid(s). The shift solenoids on the outside of the trans are combination solenoids. If you had a problem with them you'd likely have problems with more than just 2nd gear.

 

O2 sensor and ECU are different on the ULEV engine, so you're not going to find a direct swap in that has more power unless you add the extra power to whatever stock replacement engine you're putting in.

I would go H22 swap or turbo a stock replacement engine.
