i just did the timing belt on my car and didnt unplug my battery over the time it sat which a while. i figured the battery was dead so i put jumper cables on it and hooked it up to my gf's car. but it still just clicks. the car is a 90 integra. any ideas?

 

Kind of depends where the "click" is coming from, if it is a 5 speed there will be a click from the starter relay under the dash, 5 speed or auto the starter solenoid will click.

Try this...turn on dome light, [leave door open] keep an eye on dome light and turn ign. to start, let me know exactly what happens to the dome light. 94

 

i took my starter off and hooked the power to my battery and it didnt turn at all. so i must need a new one
