Default S2000 Cover Suggestions

What's going on guys?

I've recently gotten a new job that subjects my '04 S2K to an open parking lot located in an industrial area with a concentrated population of winged-rats (pigeons) hell bent on customizing my paint job. Therefore, I've arrived at the conclusion that a car cover is in order for my beloved S2000. I've browsed around a bit on the interwebs and am torn between buying an OEM cover on www.hondapartsnow.com (http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine...over-5249.html) or an after market one (http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sh...nda/s2000.html). The OEM is cheaper on that particular site but just because it's OEM doesn't necessarily qualify it as better. On the other hand, I'm not convinced that the after market cover is superior simply because it is pricier.

What would you guys recommend? Any experience with the OEM cover or an after market one? I'd appreciate any feedback y'all have to offer!

I beleive I bought a covercraft evolution car cover for mine. It's supposed to be dent resistant. Its fitted really well, with mirror and antenna pockets. I can't say it is better than oem for merely covering your vehicle, but it definetely does its job well.

On a side note, I absolutely despise autopartswarehouse, and all of the other names that they go by. They are just a massive auto parts distributor and dont stand by any of their products or their descriptions. While you can find good deals on their site, if you get a lemon, they dont give a ****

The OEM car cover has S2000 printed on it in red... which is kinda cool.

Yikes- thanks for the consumer review on autopartswarehouse. I've been tempted to order parts from them in the past but never went through with it for one reason or another.

After much deliberation, I think that I'll go with the OEM cover just because I want a sure fit for my stook. Thanks again for your input- the both of you!

OEM is great for garage storage and dry weather. It is not meant for wet weather.

yea sure thing man. i have heard/read some horror stories about them. I personally have only been dickered around by them once, and in the end i came out alright, but it was a pain in the ***. swore them and all of there aliases off for good. it's not worth saving 10 bucks to not be able to call someone and speak to a person who knows what you want/need. like ol buddy said, the oem cover is a great fit but its not designed for weather. the covercraft one i mentioned is supposed to be good for rain and light hail
