Is there any way to get a good rattle can paint job?
I remember seeing a couple years back that there were
new products coming out that could get you a good touchup
but I need to do my whole car.
I actually have a compressor and 3 guns but unfortunately
it is impossible to paint my car where I live.
I was figuring I would find a deserted back road and paint a fender or side at a time.
The cans I saw were urethane paint in a spray can and on the bottom was a button type thing that would break the hardener just before you sprayed it.
Not sure if it was only clear
Anyway my paint is really bad and even a dollar store can of paint would look better but I want it to last a couple years.
Just wondering...

I painted my whole saturn with rustoleum white and clear. it looked good but i had WAAYYY to much time in it. Only had about $100 in it but it had to be 25+hrs. sanded it down to 320, sprayed primer, then to 420, then paint, then to 600, then clear, then buff.
looked decent but wasnt worth the money I saved over maaco.

Body work takes a lot of time - all there is to it. So if you don't have a place to use spray guns (which is 10x faster) how are you going to be able to rattle can it?
