eg suspension crashing?
i recently purchased my 93 hatch, i put a lsvtec in it and went cruising only to realize when im turning or driving straight (same result either way) and hit a bump its a pretty hard hit and the steering wheel will jerk either left or right. Its very sketchy and after totaling my gsr due to a lower ball joint snapping i went all out, new front struts(which the kyb's were blown) new upper controll arms, lower balljoints, new tie rod ends, axels, and swaybar links. It still rides exactly the same it does have d2 lowering springs with new oem autozone struts but this is a problem i have never had or even heard of. This problem does not occur all the time but every couple of times i hit a bump its just violent it will jerk the wheel and feel like very very stiff suspension but the next bump will be smooth. The LCA bushings are energy bushings and there is no play in anything. I was starting to lean more towards alignment or rack and pinion but this problem occured before i messed with anything to effect alignment i have looked into bumpsteer and suspension crash and it does feel like bumpsteering but its the same wether im going straight or turning, it gets really sketchy at 65-80mph and will do it through town at 30mph as well, sorry for such a big post but its difficult to explain, thanks alot for any advice
The upper controll arms do not hit the top and what do you mean bump stops? Also they are 2" drop but it looks like the top 3 coils of the springs on both sides are sitting on eachother almost as if the springs have weakened
Bump stops, they're cushions that go around the pistons and sit on top of the shock body. You should cut them shorter.
The compressed coils are what's called dead coils. Its just a way to create extra space and stiffen the spring with a smaller diameter spring wire.
Ditch those springs.

yo man you could be getting bumb steer. you get that when your tie rods arent parralell to your lower control arm. When they are not parralell they travel at different angles causing bumb steer. Might have something bent, also check out your rack bushings.
