I am deciding between buying a 1993 Honda Accord EX sedan with 40,000 miles or a 1993 Honda Accord SE sedan with 94,375 miles. Neither car has sustained any major accidents. The EX is still on its first timing belt and water pump while the SE had its timing belt and water pump changed once at 80,625 miles, approximately two years ago. The EX is $4800 and the SE is $3500. Which of the two aforementioned cars should I buy? and Why?

 

if u planniong on building it then get the 93 ex cuz u probly gonna change the belt anyway and ifnot its only 40k on it witch isnt much but if u just gonna drive it like it is and not do anythign maby u want the se but i personally wold go for the ex

 

If the ex is 5sp then get that one, because se's only came auto

 

I say the EX especially if it's a 5-speed.

 

^I'm with these guys. The auto is reliable, but it's not worth the snore factor.

 

hmmm...

both cars have ridiculously low mileage...

and Id take the 5 speed. my buddy in h.s. had a se accord....it was a real dog.
