2500 kms in a week (~1600 miles) in a caged R with race seats- probably not even close to the farthest but certainly a challenge from an *** pain standpoint.

Well I think I have had my type r the highest? 14,110 feet. Oh, and I drove from Sarasota, FL to Colorado Springs Co to the race, raced the car, and then drove home.
Then there was One Lap 2001. We drove from Sarasota, FL to NY over Canada to Michigan, to Kansas, to Texas, to Road Atlanta, To Virginia, To New York and Back to Sarasota FL in 11 days.
Do I win a prize? - Oh wait getting to drive the Type R all those places IS the prize!

All I've got is 525 miles to Nashville, then back. (From chicago) That's not much compared to some of the ones above. However... on the first leg of the trip home, I got 337.5 miles on 9 gallons of gas, from Nashville to somewhere in the Purdue University area. I don't think I sped up or slowed down once on that entire tank. A clocked in at a smooth 37.5 mpg!!
I'll be driving from Memphis, TN to Central Cali next week, then probably taking scenic routes back home. After that's over and I've relaxed at home for a couple of days, I'll probably head down to the Miami area to visit some friends.
O-town to Panama City Beach to pick up friend, then to Long Island, NY - 1100 miles in one day
O-town to Panama City Beach to Tampa to Panama City Beach to O-town - 1600 miles to break in a clutch in 2 days.

VA to MD to GA...total = over 1200 round trip...that's the most my car have seen/driven/been in since I bought the car. Finally hit 20K miles...bought my car Dec 2000.
