so my integra was stolen monday morning/sunday night between 230 am when i got home and 630 am when i was about to leave for work from norman, ok. just a month before my em1 had just been stolen as well thinking it may be linked.. however i really want my parts back and i've got a list so if anyone can help me i'll be much appreciative if you can keep your eyes and ears peeled for these few things.

1. Edm tail lights. how to know they're mine. one has a small crack that isn't super visible unless you're up close and they have usdm wiring harness which means one of the sockets is tucked in an empty space and the bulb was removed there is no need for that extra tiny bulb.


2. Rays Gram Lights 57 in 16'' 4x100 white. only had these for a week!! how to know they're mine they have the stock offset as well as being wrapped in 205/45z16 nexxen tires that are worn just not worn all the way. from what i'm told they were the only set in the south central part of the us with those specs


3. ep3 seats with integra rails. they had a few blemishes but sooo not noticeable. the drivers seat rocked a bit if you moved any in your seat something wasn't right plus how many integras do you see with ep3 seats?... also they will fit eg rails so hoping these turn up.


4. not a big care but my ls swap it wasn't the best but hey it was mine and i'd like it back. valve cover was in great condition and i had a chrome looking oil cap. brand new oem air filter and a performance dizzy coil also brand new.


5. my exterior pieces all championship white my rear hatch was shaved no emblems the window had a peeling piece of tint and had a simply clean and eat sleep race sticker. my doors were shaved no side moldings but i did have handles drivers side door had a sticker that said "you like this" on the window. plus the inside was red when u lifted the door panel. the car was previously painted milano red so much of my pieces are red on the inside. passenger side door was white completely no red on the inside.

6. infinity speakers with crossovers i know a lot of people have them but they weren't cheap :/

7. my kenwood deck definitly not cheap had aux/usb inputs screen lit up purple-ish and **** for multi function had a blue light up ring around it.

i keep an extra pair in the glove box and they decided to be funny i guess and put them up there... it made me mad to see them do that to something private like that..

 

They probably thought it was a guy's car, who had panties in his glovebox for w/e reason. Probably just thought it was funny there were panties in 'his' car.

Sucks about your teg G/L getting your parts back. Thieves suck.

I saw your thread on OK-Speed. I will keep my eye out on craigslist and Ebay etc. for those taillights and wheels. Those items in particular will be easy to spot.

 

nah, not getting out of the game i am however relocating. i have too many aftermarket and oem parts i've been waiting to install on an integra to give up now.


and thanks to any and all who are going to be watching out for me for those hard to find items. i really appreciate it. i don't care if i get revenge or not on the people who did this i would just really like what is MINE back.

 

Moving/Relocating,....for a car Rachel? If your lease/etc is up I would understand. But I hope your not moving for the sheer fact that your car is not safe at your current location?

BTW, what makes you think your next car will be safe at a new spot? Did you ever think its an affiliate or "inside job?" (considering this is your second stolen car) I hope I don't see another "stolen" thread on the next DC you purchase.

PS- I hope you know I'm not trying to add salt to the wound, I'm just trying to open up the eyes a bit. I'd hate to see something like this happen to you again. But perhaps 3rd time's a charm.

 

GPS tracking is what she needs to get on that next integra. Gotta track these thieves.

 

I'm from the same area as her and cars are getting stolen here left and right no matter where you live if you park the cars outside. There are cars that I wouldn't pay $500 for getting stolen. It was only a matter of time until her teg got stolen since it was one of the nicest in town.....

I think she had planned to move anyways so she could have a garage prior to the integra getting stolen. We gave her a good talking to on the local forums and I think she realizes the mistakes she made with the last two cars and doesn't plan on doing it again....

 

I can respect that 100% Its just really sad to hear people have to relocate for an automobile.

For those of you getting your cars stolen, think of this... Ever order a car part online or at your local shop and pay w/a Credit/Debit card?

One aftermarket shop break in, one flash drive in hand, hundreds to thousands of addresses of potential cars that can be stolen in the palm of a flash drive. NEVER, I repeat NEVER pay by card if you reside in what would be considered a "high theft" area. CASH IS KING HONDA-TECH. Work smarter, not harder.

thanks for the advice. yeah i was planning on actually staying here til my civic got stolen then i realized i only had a month and some change left on my lease so i found a gated and garaged place to move into its a lot mroe expensive but its worth it to keep my property safe. i like my vehicles.

i use paypal for nearly everything i buy idk if they can get my info thru that but typically all i use is paypal :/

 

Nothing wrong with moving to protect your cars. You want to live somewhere you can live your life the way you want. If cars are important move to a place you can take care of them.

I only live places with garages so I can work on my car and park it safely.

 

Keepin an eye out for ya Rachel, hope they get what's coming to em...

 

I totally agree with this statement. Not only to protect them from thieves, but the condition of the paint/interior of the car will stay better longer if you keep it garaged.

Yeah my integra was the one that led them there... I want to press charges on this kid apparently he's a minor so I doubt ill get to send him away for a long time but I do plan on it

 

few thoughts

1. you really need to live somewhere with a garage
2. there's a VERY good chance you know the thief or someone you know does

odds are just too high to be multi targeted like that

for $20 harbor freight sells motion detectors you can plant in the car that will alert a siren you can keep next to your bed. they only go off if someone is in the car

i would also consider fuel pump kill switches, a good alarm and even hidden gps.

how much of this is too much?

And you should get compensation to repair/fix back your ride.
I think you should talk to a lawyer...since they are minors, SUE their parents/ their parent's car insurance...somebody gotta be responsible for their stupidity.

 

She just posted on the local forums this morning. She will get all of her parts back minus the seats and door panels in the next few days. The cops were cool and let her come down and pick out what was hers out of the parts they recovered.
