i have a 1990 hatchback with a jdm b16a sir1 with a chipped pwo and sometimes if you killed it would just randomly not start for like 15 minutes then just start again and run fine. it showed no signs of when it was going to do it. i was thining that it was the main relay.... well i pulled the motor out running to swap trannys and now got it back in and i have everything hooked up correctly and i cant find anything that is not connected and now i have no spark. could this be a main relay problem? or is their anything else special that i should be looking for?

Re solder your main relay or get coil and module tested double check all grounds

 

all the grounds are good. and can coils go bad after sitting for like a month? i pulled the dizzy off when pulling the motor so nothing got broke and then put it back on and never even pulled the cap off. and the hole if you kill it accidently and it wont start randomly for like 15 minutes does that sound like a main relay problem?

 

Yeah its because your main relay gets hot id replace or re solder it
